The west coast is also known as the dry sunny landscape of South Africa. West from the Atlantic Coast with its rocky and clean beaches to the east with the Cederberg Mountain range. North is the Namib Desert and south is Cape Town with Table Mountain. The west coast with its fishing villages offers many water sport activities, but the Namaqualand area north of the Cederberg is an arid belt stretching right up to the Namibian boarder which is marked by the Orange River (Rainfall only 140 mm during March and April). Exquisite wild flowers can be seen from August till October every year. Enjoy this 5 day tour with us through this magnificent area.
