GGD05 - 14 Day Cape Town, Garden Route, Kruger & Sun City Golf Tour

If you are planning on one of the world's finest golfing vacations then this is the golf tour for you. Our tour starts with the sights and Cape Town golf, before we get to explore the Stellenbosch wine region and play some golf surrounded by the vineyards. Our route then takes us along the Garden Route to the towns of Knysna, Oudtshoorn and George. These few days are packed with beautiful countryside and exclusive golfing, playing at Pezula and Simola being the highlights. Your golf safari section then begins as you take a short flight north to the Kruger National Park where you will be amongst wild animals as well as able to view the ‘Big 5’. A round of golf on the Leopard Creek Golf Course is as good as it gets in South Africa. The final few days will be spent at leisure at Sun City. Here you will relax and get to play a round of golf on one of South Africa’s top rated golf courses at the Gary Player Country Club.

Day 9 of the tour
This morning we will depart our lodge very early and travel into the Kruger National Park in our comfortable air-conditioned vehicle for a full day of game viewing. You will travel throughout the southern reachesof the park and exit at Phalaborwa Gate where you will arrive at Hans Merensky Golf Estate.

The world-renowned Kruger National Park, which sprawls across nearly 20 000 sq kilometres of hot, flattish lowveld terrain in the far northeast of South Africa, ranks among the finest game sanctuaries in the world. Few visitors come away disappointed. The sky is big, the horizons are far and the great expanses of the bushveld remain remarkably unspoilt. All the roads, rest camps and other man-made features only account for about 2 percent of the park's area, the rest is pure wilderness. No other sanctuary in Africa can match the Kruger in the number and variety of its life forms: the savannah plains of the park, the forest and riverine reaches are home to nearly 150 kinds of mammal, including the 'Big 5' (Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Leopard and Buffalo), more than 500 bird species, 112 reptile types (50 of them snakes of one sort or another), 49 of fish, 34 of amphibian, an uncountable diversity of insects, 500 types of tree and vast array of shrubs, grasses and bulbous plants.

This evening you will be at leisure to relax and enjoy dinner in the restaurant.

What our guests have to say...

The Kruger Park was our last destination on our nine month trip around the world. We couldn't have hoped for a better end to our trip. The tour was perfectly organized with a lot of unforgettable moments. Although we had been longing for months to go home and finally see our family and friends again, we really didn't want to end our stay at the wonderful Kwa-Madwala Game Reserve. Thank you so much for the greatest tour!
