Day 1 of the tour
We travel north to Namibia's prime wildlife sanctuary, the Etosha National Park. Upon arrival we check in, after which we spend the day at leisure. Take in the savannah environment, relax on the private veranda of your chalet or cool off in the sparkling pool.

Approximate Distance:     440 km travel

Overnight:     Etosha Safari Camp - Etosha National Park (Bed & Breakfast)

Day 2 of the tour
Early morning or late afternoon (or both) game drive to explore this awesome wildlife park. This unique, 22'270 sq km large area consists of wide-open plains and dense bush savannah that surround parched salt desert known as the Etosha Pan. This desolate saline depression shimmers with terrestrial heat during the hotter parts of the day, and is surrounded by a number of waterholes that ensure the survival of 114 different game, as well as 340 different bird species. Travelling by open vehicle, we have excellent opportunities to photograph and also experience the wide variety of game species from close range.

Overnight:     Etosha Safari Camp - Etosha National Park (Bed & Breakfast)

Day 3 of the tour
Today you again take the option of a morning or afternoon or both game drives into the park for yet another unforgettable wildlife safari. Wait in anticipation at a selection of waterholes that support a rich diversity of mammals and birds. Some of these include rare and endangered species such as black-faced Impala, Roan, Black Rhino as well as the elusive Eland, the largest antelope on earth. Each waterhole visited holds a surprise as no game drive is ever the same and we keep our eyes permanently peeled to try and glimpse the trunk of the elephant, the yellow eyes of the lion or the chequered face of the leopard behind the next bush.

Overnight:     Etosha Safari Camp - Etosha National Park (Bed & Breakfast)

Day 4 of the tour
After breakfast we have some time at leisure. In the early afternoon we travel back to Windhoek. Upon our arrival we are dropped off at our respective accommodations, where the tour ends.

What our guests have to say...

We have just returned from our third holiday organised for us by Journey Into Africa. As always we have been delighted with the immaculate organisation of the trip which this time was quite complex. All the aspects of the trip flowed seamlessly from one to another with all the transfers taking place smoothly. Our stay at the Royal Livingstone was relaxing and a good base to do the activities around Victoria Falls. The game drives at Chobe Botswana, were very productive with our guide ensuring we had good sightings of many different animals. Golf at Fancourt was relaxed and a great place to end our stay in South Africa. We would certainly recommend booking with JIA. Dealing over the internet is no problem and queries are always answered immediately. We would certainly return for a fourth time.
