Day 1 of the Kruger Park Tour Our guests are collected from all hotels, guesthouses and private homes in Gauteng as well as from OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg. We then drive past the Highveld farmlands to the picturesque Lowveld, and onwards to Tremisana Game Lodge. You will be able to take a short break, whereby you may rest in your room, have an invigorating dip in a sparkling pool, unwind at the bar with drink in hand or relax in the beautiful gardens. At around 17:00, you will board the open Landcruiser for a sunset drive. A qualified guide will then facilitate your first exciting opportunity, the experience of viewing the varied African wildlife, fauna and flora. Relax as you watch the magnificent African sunset and after darkness falls, use spotlights to locate nocturnal animals. Dinner in the Boma will be a traditional South African meal; we then overnight in the Balule Game Reserve in comfortable, air-conditioned en suite thatch-roofed chalets - dinner, bed and breakfast included.
Overnight: Tremisana Game Lodge - Balule Game Reserve (Dinner, Bed & Breakfast)
Day 2 of the tour Drive to the Orpen Gate of Kruger, where we will transfer to a custom-built open-sided Gameviewer. This open vehicle allows for a total wildlife opportunity where you will not only have an amazing opportunity to view game, but you will also have the opportunity to listen to the sounds and smell the aromas of the African bush and its denizens. The absence of windows and your elevated vantage position will allow for many excellent photographic opportunities. Your experienced guide will show you plenty of animals and birds that frequent this wildlife paradise. There will also be regular stops at picnic spots, rest camps and places of interest. The Orpen-Satara-Nwanedzi regions have open plains and support large herds of zebra, giraffe and antelope that attract numerous predators. This zone has, in fact the highest concentration of lions in Africa. This is one of the many features that make the Kruger Park in South Africa so unique. Your Kruger Park budget tour again stays overnight at the Tremisana game lodge in the Balule Game Reserve (dinner, bed and breakfast will be included).
Overnight: Tremisana Game Lodge - Balule Game Reserve (Dinner, Bed & Breakfast)
Day 3 of the tour There is nothing quite like an early morning Sunrise Drive on Balule, which is conveniently enjoyed on an open Landcruiser. After a delicious breakfast, there is an opportunity to purchase some memorabilia from the lodge shop and take your last photos of the luxuriant lush gardens at Tremisana. We then drive to the awesome Blyde River Canyon and view the Three Rondawels. Finally, we return to Johannesburg where we will drop you at either O.R. Tambo International Airport or at the accommodation of your choice. Your holiday in Africa’s greatest park ends here.
