Day 3 of the tour
This morning we will depart our rest camp early in order to enjoy a last bit of game viewing. Once we exit the park, we will stop for a buffet breakfast at the lovely Hippo Hollow Hotel in Hazyview. After breakfast, we embark on a lazy day of driving through probably the most scenic region in South Africa, namely the Panorama Route. The Panorama Route is situated along the Blyde River Canyon which is said to be the third deepest canyon in the world, and one of the world’s only year round green canyons. We stop at a number of viewpoints along the way, namely God’s Window, the Bourke’s Luck Potholes and the Three Rondawels. Once we have finished taking in these awe inspiring sights, we continue our journey back to Johannesburg where we bypass the towns of Lydenburg, Dullstroom and Belfast. The tour ends late afternoon at OR Tambo International Airport or at the accommodation of your choice in the Johannesburg or Pretoria area.
