About the Lodge:
Tintswalo Manor House is a four-star lodge situated a mere 5 minute drive from the more luxurious five-star Tintswalo Safari Lodge.

The Manor House is an alternative option for families and small groups travelling together. The lodge can only be booked with a minimum of 6 guests and guests would then have the entire lodge to themselves with their own private vehicle, guide and tracker assisgned to them for the duration of their stay.

A large thatched villa boasts a crystal blue swimming pool, deep shaded patio and traditional boma. It has 4 en-suite rooms and one children's room accommodating up to a maximum of 10 guests comfortably. For safety reasons the perimiter of the lodge is fenced as opposed to Tintswalo Safari Lodge which is not.

Accommodation:
Downstairs the Manor House has 3 en-suite air-conditioned twin or double bedrooms. One of the bedrooms has an optional child's room which leads off it. The main double en-suite bedroom is situated upstairs with a beautiful view of the surrounding bushveld.

Activities and Facilities:
The Manyeleti Private Game Reserve is one of the best areas for game viewing in the Kruger National Park region. As this lodge is child friendly your game viewing activities can be flexible to accommodate your needs. Children under the age of 12 are permitted on game drives but at the discretion of game rangers and dangerous sightings may be limited. Game walks may also be limited by the age of the children. A special Children's Program is available and affords children a fun, educational bush experience.

The most common schedule is to start your day with an early morning game drive and then to return to the lodge for breakfast. You will then either have the opportunity to do another game viewing activity such as a bush walk or just relax around the pool at the lodge. Later in the afternoon another game drive is enjoyed which will run into the night where you will make use of a spotlight to try and spot nocturnal animals.

Dining at the Manor House is enjoyed on the patio or in the open air boma under the awesome Manyeleti night sky. Manor House guests may enjoy the facilities of the Vital Source Spa and the Curio Shop at the main Tintswalo Safari Lodge.

General Information:

  • No pets allowed
  • Children of all ages welcome (minimum age limits in place for game drives and game walks)
  • Babysitting available on request
  • The lodge is in a malaria area

What our guests have to say...

I wouldn't hesitate to use your firm again and will recommend it to any friends who may visit South Africa. Your flexibility at rapidly changing plans just prior to our arrival was welcome. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. He brought in many side trips that added to the overall experience. The activities were fascinating and we saw just about every animal species we could imagine in the Kruger and even the lodge added to the overall trip experience.
