About the Lodge: Every aspect of Mala Mala Main Camp is designed to appreciate and enjoy the view of the surrounding wilds of Mala Mala Private Game Reserve. Pathways wind their way along the perimiter of the camp to reveal individual ochre coloured suites hidden away by the greenery which flanks the Sand River. Massive trees and rolling green lawns are filled with birdsong, with the occasional antelope or elephant seeking the succulence of the greenery. In true African safari style the camp is unfenced - an oasis in the middle of the bushveld!

Accommodation: The camp has 8 luxury suites, 10 luxury rooms and 1 single room where no single supplement charge will be levied. Each of the rooms has "His and Hers bathrooms", 24-hour temperature control, direct dial telephones, mini-bar, mini-safe, bathroom amenities such as insect repellent and hairdryers as well as tea and coffee making facilities.
Family rooms are available to accommodate a third adult or two children on request. A fully equipped disabled suite is also available.

Activities and Facilities: As this is a "Big 5" game reserve you will continually be in awe of the sightings that your highly qualified rangers and trackers can find for you. Most days start with an early morning game drive followed by breakfast and then the chance to do a bush walk. Late afternoon you will then once again board your safari vehicle for a sunset game drive which will also include some time driving around at night with the use of a spotlight. On the game drives comfort will be guaranteed as vehicles are only allowed a maximum of 6 guests.
