The safari was wonderful even though the weather was a bit against us, we still saw and experienced a fabulous trip. Our guide Eugene's knowledge of South African history and nature was exceptional. He also had a good sense of humour and was a great listener.
We are now safely back home and would like to thank you for your organization. Everything went exactly as you had said and it is great when it happens like that! Our guide Christiaan was perfect with us and we could feel how passionate he was about the wildlife. We were not expecting to see the 'Big 5' but we did and a lot more... Manyatta Rock Camp was a great place to stay! Cape Town was also nice and the tours and transfers there were perfect. Please keep up this level of service, quality and price...
The tour surpassed all our wildest expectations. It was a five star experience and every day got better. We will be returning to Australia and recommending your tour company to our family and friends. Thank you for a wonderfully memorable African experience.
We had a really good trip and enjoyed it. The river cruise after arriving in Livingstone is a great way to start the trip and a real highlight. We also did a microlight flight over the Falls which was brilliant. The Chobe Safari Lodge was excellent and we can highly recommend it. You can sit poolside with a drink while watching hippos in the river and the elephants on the other side.
Just dropping a quick email to say we had a fantastic trip, everything went like clockwork and the Chobe safaris were incredible. I only wish we had picked the best season for the Zambian side of the Victoria Falls. It was however beautiful anyway and it's now an excuse to come back another time and do it all again. Thanks again for organising everything, the drivers picked us up promptly for every transfer and collection and the accommodation was lovely as were the staff. My wife and I were both very satisfied with the tour and Chris our guide was excellent. He spotted many animals for us, gave us thorough descriptions of their habits and interactions and gave us time to view them and take photos for as long as we wanted. He drove us skilfully and safely and met us before and after tours where he was not involved. He also made sure of such things as wake up calls and table assignments for meals. In addition to all the animal information he also gave us a glimpse of life in present day South Africa. Bottom line, we liked him a lot and would be happy to tour with him again.
We drove nearly 4000km on this trip, played some magnificent golf courses and stayed in some excellent accommodation. The food was great and we saw 4 of the "Big 5" (the leopards were too sneaky). The tour was great value for money and Shaun did an excellent job organising everything for us. This was more than a wildlife safari - it was an opportunity to immerse in South Africa culture for a couple of days. The wildlife viewing was spectacular and our guide made us feel like we were out for a weekend with a knowledgeable good friend. Reeves Party
This tour was amazing! Most hotels were very comfortable and we were well received at all of them. Our guide was incredibly good and everything occurred as planned. It was a little disappointing to have our hot air balloon safari cancelled due to bad weather but that was the fault of no one. Thank you very much for everything it was certainly one of the best trips of our lives.

UK KNP01 - 3 Day Kruger National Park Safari 21-23 July 2011  Our four day to the Kruger National Park and Kwa-Madwala Private Game Reserve was a completely magical experience. Every aspect of the private tour was thoroughly coordinated and planned by the Journey Into Africa team - meaning we could just sit back and enjoy the very best of South Africa. From start to finish the organization and attention to detail was first rate. The pick up was prompt and efficient and the accommodation and food magnificent. The Kruger game drives were planned to spend every possible moment inside the park and Christiaan's familiarity with the park and its roads, birds and animals allowed us to cover a lot of the area thoroughly. A first rate tour in all respects at a very fair price. We would recommend the experience to anyone and especially first time visitors. I am writing to let you know that the trip was far better than I had hoped for or imagined. The schedule and itinerary were planned to perfection. No wasted time and everything was very interesting. The trip was worth every dime. I must say that I enjoyed Chris as a guide very much, very professional and knowledgeable. He answered a million of my questions about animals, birds and South African history. The comradery was great and the excursions perfect. And to top it off, I saw the 'Big 5'. I saw an awful lot of the Kruger Park and the the animals and birds there. I certainly would recommend this journey into South Africa to my friends. To sum it up, I wouldn't change anything on that itinerary. It was perfect for the amount of time I allocated. Well organised and no problems from booking through to completion. A very pleasant and educational experience of South Africa and Vic Falls in a limited time. The only disappointment was not seeing a lion or leopard (not your fault) but we did see a cheetah! The personal attention of the guides was excellent and we got a great overview of your country. Touring as a couple is definitely preferable to being in a large group.
