Rhino PoachingA Kruger National Park game ranger, who has yet to appear in court and therefore cannot be named at this stage, was arrested after he was linked to a number of rhino poaching incidents that have been taking place in the park.

"Internal disciplinary and criminal processes against the ranger will run concurrently and we hope for a speedy trial and believe that justice will prevail. Rangers are guardians and a key force in protecting these rhinos; those who do not aspire to these values should be flushed out and brought to book," said CEO of SANParks, David Mabunda.

This year alone a total of 131 suspected poachers have been arrested around the country, of whom 65 were arrested in the KNP. Since January this year, throughout the country, 15 suspected poachers have been killed and nine injured in clashes with authorities in the KNP.

What our guests have to say...

Hi Shaun, as you are aware we are back home now. Thank you for your bookings and responses to my queries. All went well and we are now sorting out our photographs and video. I would be happy to recommend your company to other Australians who ask about our experience or others whom you may wish to direct my way should they enquire about your service. Should we consider another trip to Africa I would be pleased to make contact with you.
