Entabeni Private Game Reserve is the perfect place to visit if you do not have enough time in your itinerary to travel all the way to the Kruger National Park. Situated relatively close to Johannesburg (less than three hours’ drive), we offer either a one- or two night stay during which time you will have the opportunity to spot the world-renowned "Big Five" (lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo and leopard).

Entabeni Safari Conservancy is situated in the "Waterberg Biosphere", a UNESCO-accredited World Heritage Site in the stunning Waterberg region. Less than a three-hour drive north of Johannesburg, this 22000ha malaria-free reserve boasts five eco-systems and is the perfect location for a safari holiday in South Africa. Separated from the lower plateau by 600 metre high cliffs, the upper escarpment offers majestic craggy rock formations and wide open grass plains, while the lower escarpment is about three degrees warmer and comprises largely of sandy wetlands.

Entabeni Private Game Reserve offers a far higher than usual level of successful sightings of the ''Big Five'' (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard) and safari participants can also experience scenic helicopter flights, stargazing at the observatory, sunset lake cruises and a variety of game viewing activities. Inside Entabeni Safari Conservancy you have a choice of six exciting destinations, namely:
