SECTION 1: Guided Group Tour Day 1 of the tour We collect our guests from all hotels, guesthouses and private homes in Gauteng as well as from OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg. We then depart Johannesburg and travel east towards the Mpumalanga Province and visit the many attractions along the "Panorama Route", including God's Window, the Bourke's Luck Potholes and the viewpoint over the Blyde River Canyon at the Three Rondawels. In the afternoon we descend the eastern escarpment and travel through the warm "lowveld" to a beautiful country lodge, just a short distance from the Kruger National Park.
Overnight: Country Lodge - Mpumalanga Province (Dinner, Bed and Breakfast)
Day 2 of the tour After an early breakfast at the lodge we travel the short distance to the nearest entrance gate to the Kruger National Park. Once inside the Park, excitement will mount as we start seeing some of the numerous animals that inhabit this magnificent wildlife sanctuary. We spend most of the day game viewing inside the Kruger Park arriving at our "restcamp" in the late afternoon. There is time for a short break before joining an exciting "open vehicle" game drive, looking for Africa's "Big Five" - Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo, Lion and Leopard. Accommodation tonight is in comfortable en-suite bungalows or cottages, and dinner in the camp restaurant. The world-renowned Kruger National Park, which sprawls across nearly 20 000 sq kilometres of hot, flattish lowveld terrain in the far northeast of South Africa, ranks among the finest game sanctuaries in the world. Few visitors come away disappointed. The sky is big, the horizons are far and the great expanses of bushveld remain remarkably unspoilt. All the roads, rest camps and other man-made features only account for about 2 percent of the park’s area, the rest is pure wilderness. No other sanctuary in Africa can match the Kruger in the number and variety of its life forms: the savannah plains of the park, the forest and riverine reaches are home to nearly 150 kinds of mammal, including the ‘Big 5’ (Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Leopard and Buffalo), more than 500 bird species, 112 reptile types (50 of them snakes of one sort or another), 49 of fish, 34 of amphibian, an uncountable diversity of insects, 500 types of tree and a vast array of shrubs, grasses and bulbous plants. Overnight: Satara, Olifants, Letaba or Skukuza Rest Camp - Kruger National Park (Dinner, Bed and Breakfast)
Day 3 of the tour After breakfast we exit the Kruger Park and travel to an exclusive lodge in a nearby private game reserve. Later this afternoon an exhilirating game drive in specifically adapted open 4x4 safari vehicles is undertaken. At dusk sundowners are enjoyed deep in the bush, after which the drive continues, making use of spotlights to search for nocturnal animals. A final highlight is a specially prepared dinner enjoyed under the stars around the campfire (weather depending). We make use of a number of smaller and more intimate game lodges in one of the private game reserves that lie directly west of the Kruger National Park. The specific game lodge used will depend on availability, but should be one of the following: Jackalberry Game Lodge, Chapungu Luxury Tented Lodge, Royal Legend Safari Lodge, Kambaku Safari Lodge, Nkorho Bush Lodge, Kapama River Lodge, Kapama Buffalo Camp, Simbavati River Lodge. Overnight: Private Game Lodge - Limpopo Province (Lunch, Dinner, Bed and Breakfast)
Day 4 of the tour After a final open vehicle game drive and a late breakfast, we travel back to Johannesburg where you will be dropped off at OR Tambo International Airport where you will catch a flight to Cape Town. Upon return from Robben Island you will have some time to relax. Later this afternoon you will have the opportunity to take an optional trip up Table Mountain. From the top of Table Mountain you will have some of the best views over Cape Town. An evening at leisure will allow you to enjoy one of the many fantastic restaurants that are on offer in Cape Town.

Day 6 of the tour We do the scenic South Peninsula Tour of the Cape today taking in the views of Hout Bay as we do the incredibly scenic drive over Chapman’s Peak and on to Cape Point, where many like to believe the two oceans meet. Here you will have the opportunity to go up to the lighthouse and take some of the most memorable pictures of your travels, as well as get a photo opportunity at the world famous Cape of Good Hope sign. As we continue along the coastline we stop to visit the Boulders Beach Penguins before taking a drive through the navy town of Simon’s Town. We then enjoy beautiful views across False Bay, before we make our way back to your hotel. You will again be at leisure to enjoy the night life of Cape Town.
Overnight: City Lodge V&A Waterfront - Cape Town (Bed & Breakfast)
Day 7 of the tour After an enjoyable breakfast we depart for a day in the wine regions. Our first stop is in Paarl (meaning Pearl) where we visit the Afrikaans Monument and then we move on to the KWV Wine Emporium where we do a tour and get to taste their award winning wines afterwards. The French Huguenot town of Franschoek is where we stop for lunch and then get the opportunity to stretch our legs with some time to walk around. The day now only gets better as we get the chance to do some wine tasting in the well known wine farming region of Stellenbosch. You will also have the opportunity to buy some bottles of your favourite wine.
